Broadcasting for Healthcare Heroes
CKNX holds an annual Radiothon with local, participating hospital foundations, where listeners can call in and donate to the hospital of their choice. Mark this event on your calendar and give back to your community!
Support for Local Hospital Foundations
Each year, several local hospital foundations take part in this great cause. In past years, CKNX AM 920 has broadcast the entire Radiothon event while 101.7 The One and Cool 94.5 broadcast intermittently throughout the day. Listeners can phone in and donate to any hospital foundation they choose. It’s a fantastic way to make a contribution to the healthcare community you and your loved ones rely on.
You’ve Helped Us Surpass Our Goals
This year you helped us raise $85,835.00 on the day of the Radiothon event.
You can still make a donation to our equipment project for the CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon until the end of November 2023! The LMH Foundation’s Radiothon equipment project is an ‘OR Bundle’. The LMHF accepts donations earmarked for the Radiothon until the end of November and we’re so thankful to everyone who gave generously.

Radiothon Event Details
On the day of Radiothon, in October, you can come to support our accompanying fundraising event at Knox Church Hall in Listowel. The event at Knox is your opportunity to meet us in person and make a donation to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation.
You’ll enjoy a fun day where you can buy lunch (LMH auxiliary provided) bake sale (LMH auxiliary), listen to live music, and make an in-person donation to the LMHF.

The Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation has participated in the Radiothon since 2007 and has received $1,350,885.00 from very generous donors! Your donations have helped us purchase these important items for LMH:
