Event fundraisers are a great way to contribute to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation. You or your business can host an event and generously gift some or all of the proceeds to the hospital foundation. Not only will you be giving back to your local hospital, but you’ll also be giving your community an opportunity to connect with each other, work together, and create great memories.

LMHF Fundraisers

The LMHF hosts events every year, like our Annual Spring Gala and Radiothon. All of the proceeds from these events go to the Listowel Memorial Hospital. We are so grateful for all our corporate and individual donors who keep our hospital providing top-quality care.

Hosting an Event? Here’s How it Works.

 

Plan your event

Decide what type of event you want to host and pick a date. Be creative when selecting your event – don’t be afraid to be a bit whimsical. Themed events are a lot of fun and create great memories for you and your guests. See our list of event ideas below if you need inspiration.

 

Spread the word

Start talking about your event on social media, on your website or blog, contact your local radio station or newspaper, and by word of mouth.

 

Gift your proceeds

After your event, tally up the proceeds and give LMHF a call to let us know you’d like to donate the proceeds and support your local hospital.

 

Inspire others and get recognition

(Optional)

Our Foundation Administrator can organize a cheque ceremony where you’ll be presenting your donation to the foundation. It’s a nice way to get a bit of recognition, share your generosity with others with a great photo opportunity, and inspire even more growth for the foundation. Of course, this is an option available to those who request it as we understand that some may not wish to be recognized in this way.
